Day 1 - ARRIVED UK!

And it's sunny!

Arrived Heathrow airport around 4pm. Rested ourselves at his parent's home which is in Horsham, West Sussex, UK.
The weather was soooo nice (17degree, cool wind, sunny with almost no clouds in the sky), him, his mom and I decided to sit and chat at the backyard. The 4 bottles of wine among the 3 went down like a breeze.

Horsham is such a beautiful quiet town, the shopping arcades and streets reminicent of the mediaval era, every corner brings me back to history.

Went to a local pub for a pub grub (English term for dinner at a pub) with his parents.
Apparently, in recent years, more pubs are serving food, and not just food but quality food, to bring in customers. These pubs are called gastropub.
Just a local pub in a quiet town, but the food is just as good as those award winning restaurants in Singapore. And this is just my first day...
