Went driving around Fittleworth, a charming and historic little town, somewhere in the North West of London. This is to me, a country living in England at its best and it's not far (an hour?) from Gatwick airport. Very accessible yet very peaceful and beautiful countryside.

This is a magnificent view of Arundel Castle over a pub at River Arun. The castle back dates to the 11th century and has been a family home of the Dukes of Norfolk and their ancestors for nearly 1,000 years.
